Cookie policy

This page explains what cookies are, what storage techniques rainbetcanada.com actually uses and how you control them in your browser. In short: this website sets no cookies for visitors, uses no analytics and no advertising trackers, and therefore shows no consent banner.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website can place in your browser. Comparable techniques are local storage, session storage, tracking pixels, device identifiers and measurement scripts. They can save settings, recognize a session or analyze how you behave on a website.

2. What this website uses

We store only what the function you trigger needs. There is no audience measurement, no advertising tracking, no profiling – and therefore no cookie banner.

EntryTypePurposeLifetime
rbcaAgeLocal storage (this website)Remembers that you confirmed you are of legal age before an outbound redirect.Until you clear site data in your browser
rbcaModeLocal storage (this website)Remembers whether the side menu shows the casino or the sports view.Until you clear site data in your browser
rbcaSideCollapsedLocal storage (this website)Remembers whether the side menu is collapsed or expanded.Until you clear site data in your browser

A normal visit to this website sets no cookies. The local-storage entries are created only when you switch the side menu or confirm your age before a redirect; they stay in your browser and are never transmitted to us.

3. WordPress cookies for administrators

The site runs on WordPress. WordPress sets session and login cookies only for logged-in administrators who edit the site. Visitors never receive them, because there is no visitor login.

4. What we do not use

  • no analytics or statistics services (no Google Analytics, no Matomo, no tag manager),
  • no advertising pixels and no retargeting,
  • no external fonts, maps, videos or embedded games,
  • no social-media buttons that transmit data,
  • no consent-management tool – the techniques we use do not require one.

5. Quebec Law 25 and consent

Quebec’s Law 25 requires that technology which identifies, locates or profiles a person be switched off by default and activated only with prior consent. This website uses no such technology: the three local-storage entries are strictly necessary for the function you chose and do not identify you. That is why no consent banner is shown. Should we ever add a non-essential tracker, we would ask for your consent first and update this page.

6. Third-party cookies

No third-party service is embedded on this website and no third party sets cookies here. Details are in our privacy policy.

7. Partner links

Some buttons lead through an intermediate page to a partner’s offer. On that page you confirm that you are of legal age; no cookies and no device identifiers are set in the process. As soon as you reach the external website, its own cookie and privacy rules apply – identifiers may be stored there over which we have no control.

8. How to clear local storage

All common browsers let you manage cookies and site data in their privacy settings:

  • delete stored cookies and site data for a single site or for all sites,
  • block new cookies, or block third-party cookies separately,
  • be asked before anything is stored,
  • remove data automatically when the browser closes.

To clear the three entries of this website, open your browser’s settings, look for “Cookies and site data” (or “Site settings”), search for rainbetcanada.com and delete its data. The site then simply forgets your menu preference and your age confirmation; all content remains usable.

9. Your rights

Where storage techniques process personal information, you have the rights described in our privacy policy – access, correction, withdrawal of consent and, for Quebec residents, the additional rights under Law 25. A message to info@rainbetcanada.com is enough.

10. External websites

As soon as you follow a link to an external offer, you leave this website. The external provider may set its own cookies, collect additional data, ask for personal details and process data in other countries. Before registering or depositing, check its privacy and cookie notices, its terms and its responsible-gaming rules.

11. Changes to this page

We update this page when the technology we use, a service provider or the legal requirements change. The version published here applies; the date of the last update is at the top.
